National Public Lands Day Events on the Lincoln National Forest

National Public Lands Day is the largest single-day volunteer effort for American’s public lands. Each year thousands of volunteers from across the country come together on the fourth Saturday in September to restore and enhance public parks, forests, waterways and more. Volunteers of all ages and abilities roll up their sleeves and work side-by-side to care for public lands. This year, the theme is “Connecting to Nature through Service,” with an aim to help volunteers and participants connect to the great outdoors through service-related activities.

Shady Pines Chamber Players 2019 Season

Announcing SHADY PINES CHAMBER PLAYERS 2019 (7th!) Season Shady Pines Chamber Players (SPCP) is a project of the Cox family at Shady Pines (200 Fox facing Wren in Cloudcroft). We provide fine musicians a place to gather for a conversation in music with each other and add garden and musical beauty to our beloved Cloudcroft and surrounding communities. Besides providing a cultural asset to the region we also support the Cloudcroft Schools music programs.
