Public invited to participate in workshop to discuss proposed: Southern Sacramento Restoration Project
ALAMOGORDO, CLOUDCROFT, NM, March 2, 2017 – For Immediate Release. The Lincoln National Forest is in the early stages of planning a project in the Sacramento Mountains located within the Sacramento Ranger District, south of Cloudcroft, NM. The forest is proposing a landscape scale forest restoration project to address forest health and hazardous fuels concerns.
A 2-day public workshop will be held on March 15th and 16th in Cloudcroft to discuss preliminary aspects of the project and develop a proposed action. The workshop will be held in the Marcia room at the Lodge Resort, located at 601 Corona Pl., Cloudcroft, NM from 9:00 – 4:00 pm.
