Welcome! Take a seat!

Hello, everybody! My name is Robin Faux and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist here in Cloudcroft. You may have seen me around town, either at Higher Grounds Coffee Shop or at various events with my purple massage chair, offering mini-treatments to anyone who wants to try it. I am excited to tell you I will now be offering chair massage at Dave’s Café on Burro Street, Wednesdays 10-12.

I love doing chair massage! It’s one of my favorite treatments to offer because it has unique benefits for the client.

  1.  A quick session on a chair is often easier to schedule than an hour long table massage.
  2.  The client can stay completely clothed; no need to be concerned about modesty.
  3.  Sometimes, a little “spot-work” on a specific problem is all the client needs to feel immensely better.
  4.  It’s cheaper than a table massage! If you’re worried about wasting money on a service you might not like, the investment you make for a chair massage is far less than a lengthier table session.

Don’t get me wrong—a 60 or 90 minute session on my massage table is very relaxing, healing, and I also provide on-site table massages by appointment. But chair massage offers a friendly introduction to bodywork for those who have never had a massage. It is also an excellent pick-me-up for those who are seasoned bodywork recipients.

I will be blogging about various forms of massage or about particular injuries/medical conditions I see on a regular basis. Please know I’m open to suggestions. If you want to know if massage therapy is right for you or if you would like to schedule a treatment, please call or email me and I will respond. If you want me to write about something massage related, please contact me and I will make a post about it. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing with you all the reasons I love my work.
