Mexican Canyon Trestle Vista Open for Business

I hope you can stop by the Mexican Canyon Trestle Vista on your next trip up to Cloudcroft to see it in person, but in the meantime, here are some pictures. Tom, contracting officer’s representative on the project, was at the site this afternoon when the whistle went off for the first time. He said it sent shivers up his spine and if we can send shivers up an engineer’s spine, we did something right! Thanks to all of you who contributed to this project over the last 20 years–we couldn’t have done it without you.

There is a really cool hike thru the forest from the other side of the trustle. this hike may be clear of snow and ice in about April or May? It depends on how much snow has fallen thru the winter, good hiking my friends..
