U.S. 70 Road Work in Otero County

The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will be doing pavement rehabilitation work on U.S. 70 between Ruidoso and Tularosa beginning the week of September 5th. Cutler Repaving Inc. out of Albuquerque, New Mexico will be doing the work between Mile Marker 237, vicinity Bent, to Mile Marker 248, east of Mescalero.
The work will consist of a hot in-situ recycle of the top 1 to 1 ½ inches of existing pavement with an additional 1 ½ inches of pavement added on top. Driving http://pharmacy-no-rx.net/paxil_generic.html lanes and shoulders will be rehabilitated. This work is a continuation of work done last year on U.S. 70.
The approximate $5.6 million project will last five to six weeks and will extend the life of the existing pavement.
The contractor will have at least one to two single lane drops during the construction. All lanes will be open at the end of each day.
Please drive carefully, observe posted warning and speed limit signs and watch for construction workers in the area.
