Cloudcroft School Board Approves 4-Day Week

The Cloudcroft School Board considered input from community members and teachers on the 4-day school week before approving the measure in a 3-1 vote. Superintendent Tommy Hancock addressed the board at the start of the meeting volunteering to take a 5% reduction of pay along with a 5% reduction in days worked. The following day Board member Arlan Ponder posted on his blog, http://voteforarlan.blogspot.com that Amy Lane http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/antibiotics/ resigned after Monday night’s school board meeting. Lane who had her position of Assistant Superintendent changed to Special Education / Federal Programs Director resigned to take a position with the Alamogordo School District.
